In The Swim Granular pH Reducer is safer and easier to store than liquid muriatic acid. Use pH reducer whenever your pH level rises above 7.6. The ideal range for your pool’s pH should be 7.2 7.6. High pH levels can cause things such as cloudy water skin irritation and damage to your pool and equipment so it’s a good idea to have pH reducer on hand for those times when your pH level is high. 10lbs. of granular pH reducer is equivalent to 1 gallon of muriatic acid.
